Delivery to Kacee, WY

Russchelle Jones was a volunteer for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS.  One day, while at work, she had a seizure.  That was about two years ago.  This event has changed and continues to shaped her life.  The kind folks at her fire station bought her a beautiful adult tricycle; a gift of love and encouragement.  Mike and I were able to deliver it this weekend!  A 700 mile round trip journey, we saw some beautiful Wyoming landscapes as we made our way to Kacee, WY.  Here are some pictures of Russchelle, the bike, and the ranch she and her family run.  Beautiful country!

Cutters Races - From Start To Finish

Arrive Friday with trailer - secure position. SW corner of track.

Return Saturday morning and commence set up.  Anchor pop up.  Set up wood stove.  Get BBQ grill ready.  Arrange food, cooler, chairs.

Cutter's Races - the horses run so the kids can walk.  This Shriner fund raiser event was a huge success.  We socialized, ate well, watched a bunch of great horse races, won money, lost money, cheered, laughed, drank some good drinks, and said goodbye to Charlie.  You would have enjoyed this year's races, Charlie, and you will be missed.  We toast our Bloody Marys to you!

Sandy - note the great grill-ware you gave us!

Next step, watch the horses run!

Betting Red or Green?

 And they are OFF!
 The moment the gate opens!

Cooking for friends - Mike is betting green!

Weekend Pictures

Janet, Mike, dogs and I went for a long ski at the Walton Ranch.  Here are some pictures of my loud-mouthed-obnoxious-Italian-friend Janet and the rest of us on a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

Evan Takes Off

Michael's nephew Evan has graced us with a visit!  What a fine, young man!  We had such a great time while he was here.  He fell in love with Ruby - who wouldn't.  Now that he is gone, I realize I did a terrible job of being a photographer......it was a busy time filled with good food, good times, and several episodes of the Gillmore Girls!

Spring has arrived in Jackson Hole.  Cold mornings leave heavy hoar frost on everything.  As the day goes on and things warm up, a blue bird sky appears for the rest of the warm day.  We keep our fingers crossed that the track will hold up for this weekend's annual Cutter Race event.....
