No, this is not me! It's Gloria Courser, wife of paramedic Scott. They were guided by Guide Trumbower today and bagged Gloria's first bull. Congrats to all! (I was at work, darn it!)

Beautiful day, beautiful country. One spike elk spotted and in this country it is against regulations to shoot. Now we are hunting!!
No blood today.
Really. Don't look. And if you can't help yourself, know that the utmost respect and sincere appreciation goes into this labor of filling freezers with lean, organic meat.
The beautiful place we were.
The very steep hillside the elk ran across.
Dave and Mike working on their harvests.
Luck shined on us again today. This beautiful cow elk stood for a 225 yard shot today. She is the nicest elk I've ever shot, fat and big. Thanks to our outstanding stock for a well mannered day. Three trips down the trail for Cosmo and Gus, Bishop and Earl stood calm and still while getting loaded with heavy fresh meat. Thanks to Michael for doing all the work after my shot!
Elk cut up with an axe and loaded to head back down trail.
