A New Week Ahead!

Michael is off to PT. He seems to be slowly, every so slowly, improving. Standing is still very painful. Yesterday was a really lousy day with significant rain fall to make our driveway an ice skating rink after the 26 degree morning temperature. Thankfully, we have a neighbor with a sand truck and the ability to throw down some sand. Last night's amazing dinner was followed by Mahler's 5 and the remaining Jordan Chardonnay wine. Good food, good wine, good music!! The following pictures are from a lovely old wagon discovered parked next to the Hoback Market. It's been there for years - I just never "saw" it! Have a great week!

Back Pain Sucks!

Micheal is stuck in a non-mobile condition with a pinched nerve in his back. With steroids on board, he is not getting much improvement. A phone call or an email would help distract the long hours of recovery - stuck in a horizontal position. It's so hard to see the one you love suffer.

Frozen Track!

Our venture to the Cutter Races to be held at Lincoln County Fairgrounds ended up to be a beautiful jaunt south of home and the announcement the races were cancelled as we drove to park at the track! Drats!! Racer, Coralia Miller (pictured with us), hoar frost, elk on the Alpine feedgrounds, and goats spied on the way home. It was a nice drive anyway!
